Training for tourist guide in project “Strengthening professional adult education in rural areas” funded by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) in the framework of the Cross – Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina, began on February 7th 2014.
10 mainly young unemployed people attending this 10-day training organized in Fojnica. Trainer Trainer Dragan Martic had a goal to offer trainees adequate education skills for those who are intending to work as tourist guide.
In theoretical part of training trainees had opportunity to hear about constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, basics on tourism as well as legal frames. Besides the theoretical part, trainees had opportunity to visit Jajce and Travnik as a part of training. After they finish 10 days vocational training the trainees will go on exam in Federal Ministry of tourism, and will receive certificate signed by Ministry. This certificate issued by Ministry will give them opportunity to work as tourist guide in Central Bosnia Canton.
