A hybrid workshop on “Project Proposal Preparation within the Serbia–Bosnia and Herzegovina Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2021-2027” was held on June 24, 2024, at the Royal Spa Hotel in Banja Koviljača, starting at 11:00 AM. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the Directorate for European Integration, with the assistance of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Program, in preparation for the upcoming call for project proposals.

The workshop was attended by over 80 representatives of national and local institutions and non-governmental organizations, while around 20 participants joined the event online. During the training, participants were provided with detailed information about the Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the two countries, including its goals, structure, and priorities, key aspects of the project cycle, and project development, as well as practical advice on applying, preparing the logical framework matrix, and budgeting. All interested parties had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers.

The workshop commenced with opening remarks from Tibor Pinter, Special Advisor to the Minister from the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, and Alma Kurtalić Zahiragić, Senior Advisor from the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Serbia–Bosnia and Herzegovina Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2021-2027 is funded by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), aimed at strengthening socio-economic development in the cross-border area between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
