On May 9th 2013. opening ceremony of the project „ Strenghtening professional adult education in rural areas“ was held in Kiseljak municipality.
Representatives of media, Cantonal Employment Service from Travnik, Municipalities and project partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia gathered to hear the project scope of work, goals and main activities. This ceremony also bring together representatives of Caritas Belgium, Caritas Italiana and local partners from Kiseljak, Kreševo and Fojnica which were involved in previous project implemented by Caritas BC BH.
Director of Caritas Šabac ,Miroljub Nikolic and Project Coordinator in Caritas BC BH ,Srdjan Vidakovic presented planed activities and overall objective of the project .
Main activities whithin the project are : Delivery of 14 vocational training ( homecare giving, B&B, homemade food preparing, medicinal herbs, tourist guidance, beekeeping and outdoor activities) and creation of 14 manuals ; study visits and visit to agriculture and tourism fairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, joint workshop on herbs procesing and joint cross border conference in Serbia.
This was also a good opportunity for all project partners to discuss about implementation of joint activities planned for the upcoming period .
