During the official presentation of the document “Analysis of the regional status of innovation and industrial priorities”, one of the conclusions was “Sustainable investment in infrastructure and innovation is a key initiator of economic growth and development”. The conference was held on March 3, 2022 in Sarajevo, and the document was prepared within the activities of the project “Enabling Highly Accelerated and Nourished Comnpetitiveness and Employment-ENHANCE”.
The aim of presenting the document is to encourage small and medium enterprises to set new industrial priorities such as: green transformation, investing in knowledge, digital transformation and the like. The event gathered representatives of small and medium enterprises, government representatives, representatives of educational institutions and the non-governmental sector.
“I am glad that there is interest in improving the innovation of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring Serbia. Compared to the more developed countries of the world,we have a low level of investment in knowledge and innovation. The main role should be played by private, not state investments. The domestic economy is important, ie the attitudes of our businessmen. This kind of events are extremely important in order to exchange experiences and present best practices, “said Admir Cavalic, an economic expert.
