RDA Zlatibor participation at this year’s fairs Business Base and Local Self-governments, in the Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair, was a chance to present our project to a wider audience. The presentation was organized as part of a panel discussion named “The Regional Waste Management in Zlatibor area” which was an opportunity for the exchange of information and experiences between the two regional waste management systems in our region – PUCs Duboko and Banjica, and stakeholders.
Since the project cooperation with the donors is a way to provide support to the processes of establishment and an adequate improvement of the existing regional waste management systems, the presentation of our project intended to convey an the good practice example, which we jointly established in the territory of Uzice and Tuzla. Not only did the presence of experts serve to promote the project, but also to establish collaboration that can be realized in the future. Presentation was implemented by project manager, who was the moderator of panel discussion as well.
In addition to our presentation, a “brotherly ” project from the second cross-border programme Serbia – Montenegro, named “Clean” , was presented too, which is now conducted in partnership of the municipalities of Southwestern Serbia and North Montenegro, was presented too.
