Overall objective: Contribution to the promotion of sustainable environmental planning in the cross-border area of Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Specific objective(s) or project purpose: Improved efficiency of public services in the field of waste management by establishing a system of separate collection and treatment of municipal waste in the entire territory of the municipalities of Bajina Basta, Visegrad and Han Pijesak.
Activities and results of the project

 

 RESULT NO. 1:  Technical preconditions for integrated municipal WM established on the territory of three municipalities

       Activity no. 1.1: Procurement/distribution of specialized WM equipment

       Activity no. 1.2: Development and introduction of primary waste collection system in the rural areas of BB

       Activity no.1.3: Development and introduction of a primary waste collection system on the entire territory of two municipalities of B&H

       Activity no.1.4: Establishment of a pilot compost plant in BB

RESULT NO. 2 : The process of continuous education of key stakeholders in the integrated municipal WM process established in three municipalities

       Activity no. 2.1: Implementation of continuous education of the population of three municipalities

       Activity no. 2.2 Realization of a study trip

RESULT NO. 3: Municipal planning documents in the field of WM developed/applied in three municipalities

       Activity no. 3.1:  Preparation of project planning documentation for the municipal compost plant in BB

       Activity no. 3.2: Development/adoption of six legal development documents
