Association for mutual assistance in mental disstress „TK Fenix“ from Tuzla and Caritas Valjevo are currently implementing project named UPSTREAM 2, that has an aim of promotion of socialization and treatment in mental health.

 

Starting with 14th of November and ending on the 16th of November 2014. Association TK Fenix and Caritas Valjevo will implement the first of two planned trainings on the subject of “Work inclusion of mental health services users” that is focused on exchange of experiences of mental health professionals from the Tuzla Canton (BiH) and Kolubar District (SRB). The aim of the mentioned exchange is additional increase in mental health professional cooperation, with an emphasis of involvement of rehabilitators and employment empowerers, with the final goal of improvement of quality of life for mental health services users.

 

UPSTREAM 2 is financed by the European Union throughout the Instrument for pre-accession assistance under the Cross-Border Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina. The financial value of the project is 170 000,00 Euro (332 491, 1 BAM) where the EU is co-financing 129 774, 15 Euro (253 816, 17 BAM).

 

Associates on the project implementation are JZNU Primary Health Centre „Dr. Mustafa Šehovi?“ Tuzla (BiH), City of Valjevo, General Hospital Valjevo, Medical School „Dr. Miša Pantic“, Centre for research and promotion of mental health „Vanima“ and Association „Dobri ljudi“ (SRB).
