Sixteen representatives from various sectors including tourism organizations, tour operators, and businesses in the tourism industry, alongside members of the “Open-Air Everywhere” Project team from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, are actively participating in the ITB Tourism Fair, taking place from March 5-7, 2024, in Berlin.
The ITB Tourism Fair stands as the world’s foremost travel trade show, boasting approximately 10,000 exhibitors hailing from over 180 countries and regions. This event serves as a crucial platform where cities, tour operators, booking system developers, airlines, hotels, and other tourism-related businesses present themselves and their services. It is recognized as a major hub within the tourism industry, significantly influencing travel experiences worldwide.
For stakeholders from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, this event offers an invaluable opportunity to showcase their businesses and services to a diverse audience of ITB guests and visitors. Furthermore, it facilitates networking and the organization of B2B meetings with potential business partners.
Notably, participants are utilizing this platform to highlight the outcomes and activities of the Open-Air Everywhere Project, emphasizing the open-air tourism concept and joint Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) sites in both countries.
