In primary in secondary schools in Užice, from April 23rd to 26th of 2013, were organized group info presentation on Primary waste selection in schools. Presentations were intended for pupils and teachers and were held in school rooms, with an adequate supporting programme.

7 primary and 7 secondary schools in Užice took part in project “Concept of Primary Waste Selection in Schools in Užice and Tuzla”, which is implemented in the framework of CBC programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina and funded by the EU. Public Utility Company “Duboko”, as a lead partner, is implementing this project together with PUC ”Komunalac”, The Center for Ecology and Energy and Regional Development Agency Zlatibor from Užice.
Project includes setting up a four-coloured waste bins for primary waste selection in schools: blue for paper and cardboard package, green for aluminium cans, yellow for plastic and brown for other types of waste. Aim of presentations is to inform students and teachers about: project details, waste selection process and their role in this process.
