Information session on the occasion of the launching of the Second Call for Proposals under the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014-2020 took place on 10 December 2019 in Bijeljina. It was organized by the Ministry of finance of the Republic of Serbia in close  cooperation with the Ministry for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina , with support of the Joint Technical Secretariat.

The event was largely visited by potential applicants. On behalf of the organizer, Directorate for European Integration, Tarik Džajć, Expert Advisor for the Programme, addressed the group. Mr Džajć pointed out that 4, 77 millions of euros are provided for three different thematic priorities. He also informed participants of the rigorous evaluation criteria, and stressed importance of good definitions of project relevance and potential risks.

Further, the audience was addressed by Tamara Rakić, a representative of the Contracting Authority, Department for Contracting and Financing of European Union funded Programs, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia presented the Guidelines for applicants.

The event was attended by more than 90 representatives of different institutions, who had the opportunity to be informed about the rules of the Call.

On behalf of Joint Technical Secretariat, Darko Čukuranović, Programme Associate, presented the Application Form in detail. This was an ideal opportunity for the attendees to resolve any dilemmas they could face while preparing the project.
