The Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Zlatibor Administrative District-Uzice and Energis, in Gorazde organized a two-day project academy that brought together businessmen, managers of small and medium enterprises in the wood, metal processing and food sectors areas of the Sarajevo macro-region and the Zlatibor district. It is about education for writing projects for small and medium enterprises in order to provide them with basic knowledge about project planning and the process of drafting project proposals and to facilitate application to various funds. Education is part of the project ENHANCE.
– This is a great thing because we have to follow the education that keeps up with the times and be closer to European and other funds and that way of writing projects. I can only thank these people for being part of their plan and for inviting me. Today, I even brought my daughter here who plans to follow in my footsteps, to start educating and I think this is a great thing in these difficult times because we are pioneers in writing projects – said Vučninić.
Director of the Sector for Industry and Services of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce and Director of the project “ENHANCE” Almin Melišević explains that thanks to the representatives of the Sarajevo Development Agency SERDA, who have extensive experience in project writing, participants in the two-day workshop will be provided international and domestic funds. – There are more and more public calls for certain grants and other funds for projects in the field of production and industry and various other branches, so that companies needed to develop their own capacities so that they could act independently, without having to hire various agencies and other associations. According to our analysis that we did with companies, one of the first requests was to develop their capacities in writing applications for projects and funds allocated by the EU – Malisevic explained.
The organizers note that the project academy, as one of the most important segments of the ENHANCE project, will be organized on Zlatibor on May 17 and 18. They estimate that it is important in many ways, not only because of acquiring knowledge in writing projects, but also because of establishing cooperation between businessmen from BiH and Serbia.
