Representatives of Caritas Šabac visited Sarajevo, Fojnica and Kiseljak on 8. And 9. May 2013. Visit was organized within the implementation of project: „Strengthening professional adult education in rural areas”, which is being implemented within 2nd call for proposals in the cross-border program of cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, financed by the EU pre-accession funds.

Besides the meeting with partners on project implementation, representatives of Caritas Sabac visited agricultural property “Tuka” in Lužine, near Fojnica. This property presents good example of rural tourism development, with warm atmosphere, cozy accommodation and delicious domestic food. Thanks to the projects which support development of rural tourism and Caritas, Tuka family has used their available resources in the best possible way to organize rural tourism.

On Thursday, 9. May 2013, in Kiseljak, Caritas BK Bosnia and Herzegovina has organized ceremony of the official start of the project implementation and press conference, where the partners from both countries presented the project, activities, goals and the importance of the project for the local community. The idea was to inform the public with the project, so they can be included as potential beneficiaries. Conference was attended by the representatives of partner organizations in the project: Caritas Belgium, Caritas Italy, local partners from Fojnica and Kiseljak, with which a successful collaboration on previous projects was realized.
