Representatives of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska have delivered the materials for wall painting and cleaning supplies to secondary schools in Bijeljina, Doboj East and Orasje who participated in the project “Youth – Most important Driving Engine of our Region”.
The students and teachers from the Grammar school “Filip Visnjic” from Bijeljina, the Combined secondary school Doboj East and Secondary Education Center from Orasje, which were directly affected by floods or served as temporary evacuation center for affected people, have significantly contributed to strengthening of the youth capacities to actively participate in the realization of local community based activities.
The project which lasted for 13 months was funded by European Union through the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina. This project has been realized by two partner organizations – the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska (Bijeljina) and the Center for Equitable Regional Development (Belgrade).
