Within the Second Call for Proposals of the Cross-Border Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Joint Technical Secretariat, with the assistance of the Operating Structures and the EUDs of the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, held four info-days, in Šabac, Užice, Lukavac and Istocno Novo Sarajevo.
The four info-days, two of which held in the Republic of Serbia and two in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were attended by approximately 330 participants, representatives of the NGO sector, local and regional authorities, tourism and culture organizations, chambers of commerce, development agencies, educational institutions etc. The attendees were presented rules and procedures of the Second Call for Proposals, while the representatives of the OSs, EUDs and of the JTS answered the questions regarding the Second Call for Proposals. Since the representatives of institutions and organizations of both Countries attended the info-days, many of them used an opportunity to find a cross-border partner with the scope of preparation of the project proposal to be submitted within the Second Call for Proposals of the Cross-Border Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The results of the questionnaires filled in by the attendees of the info-days showed a significant interest for applying within the Second Call for Proposals. Most of the participants consider events like the info-days very useful and are satisfied with the information obtained at these info-days. Many of them already have a cross-border partner and a project idea developed.
