Youth Theatre Tuzla, in cooperation with the Association Mladi Tuzle, and with the financial support of the Tourist Board of the City of Tuzla and co-organization of PANONIKA Tuzla, is implementing the project “Little Tuzla Explorers.”

This initiative consists of interactive drama workshops for children aged 6 to 12, offering young residents and visitors of Tuzla the opportunity to explore the Neolithic period and the historical development of the city in an educational and entertaining way.

The program combines play, socializing, fun, and learning, making Tuzla’s rich cultural and historical heritage more accessible to children.

Workshops are being held at the Archaeological Park of the Neolithic Pile-Dwelling Settlement in Tuzla, located within the Pannonian Lakes complex. The Archaeological Park in Tuzla was reconstructed through the NeoLIFE project, which aimed to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of Užice (Serbia) and Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Through NeoLIFE, an archaeological park was built near Užice following modern international models, while in Tuzla, the facilities of the Pannonian Lakes Archaeological Park, Neolithic heritage site, and Geological Museum were enhanced. The project also created a sustainable management model for archaeological parks, promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening education of young people in the field of cultural heritage.

With their mutual cooperation, Užice and Tuzla have strengthened their competitiveness on both domestic and international tourism markets, and the successful implementation of NeoLIFE confirmed their place on the cultural map of the region.
