Last week of June, two two-day training workshops for birdwatchers were held as part of the project “Eco Tourism in the Cross-border Area between Serbia and BIH: Cross border BIRDWATCHING” The workshops took place in Bogatić (Serbia), organized by Caritas Šabac, and in Muška Voda in Kladanj (Bosnia and Herzegovina), organized by the Red Cross of Tuzla Canton.
A total of 40 participants, 20 from each side of the Drina River, attended the theoretical and practical parts of the training. They acquired fundamental knowledge and skills that will help them become birdwatching guides, thereby enriching the tourist offerings of their regions with new content focused on the exceptional ornithological values of the project area.
