Overall objective:<\/strong><\/td>\nTo increase competitiveness of cross border rural tourism sector through improvement of tourism infrastructure, new tourism products and services and enhanced partnership and cooperation in the cross-border area.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Specific objective(s) or project purpose:<\/strong><\/td>\n1. Improvement of the infrastructure base for rural tourism development in order to increase the attractiveness of the cross-border destination<\/p>\n

2. Improvement of the recognition of tourism destinations in the cross-border area through capacity building, promotional and marketing activities<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Estimated results:<\/strong><\/td>\n1.1. Reconstructed and modernised two (2) hunting lodges \/ cottages – one (1) in Loznica and one (1) in Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

1.2. Reconstructed one of the existing cottage houses in Trsic and establishment of Centre for the promotion of rural tourism in cross-border region<\/p>\n

1.3. Arranged new hunting grounds, built new observatories for spotting and monitoring wildlife, new feeding grounds built in Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

1.4. In the forest area of Han Pijesak and Loznica trails for hiking, walking and cycling will be marked and mapped and educational boards will be installed<\/p>\n

2.1. Four (4) cross border workshops will be prepared and conducted in cross-border region (two (2) in Loznica and two (2) in Han Pijesak)<\/p>\n

2.2. One (1) cross border Study for rural development and environmental protection and One (1) Strategy for tourism development in Han Pijesak will be prepared and distributed<\/p>\n

2.3. Promotional events will be organized, promotional materials will be designed, printed and distributed<\/p>\n

2.4. Two (2) off-road vehicles purchased for the needs of hunting associations and local self-government from Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

2.5. Large animals (bear and wolf) will be marked, animal tracking system will be provided and an Online Zoo will be established<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

1.1.1. Preparatory activities and reconstruction of hunting lodges \/ cottages in Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

1.2.1. Preparatory activities, reconstruction of cottage house in Trsic \/ Loznica and establishment of Centre for the promotion of rural tourism in cross-border region<\/p>\n

1.3.1. Construction of new ones and reconstruction of the existing hunting grounds, building new observatories for spotting and monitoring wildlife, new feeding grounds in Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

1.4.1. Marking and mapping of trails for hiking, walking and cycling in Han Pijesak and Loznica, and installation of educational boards<\/p>\n

2.1.1. Cross border workshops preparation and conduction in cross border region (Loznica and Han Pijesak)<\/p>\n

2.2.1. Cross border Study for rural development and environmental protection and Strategy for tourism development for Han Pijesak preparation and promotion<\/p>\n

2.3.1. Rural tourism promotional activities in cross border region – Common tourism web platform development, Joint marketing channels and instruments to promote rural tourism capacities and tourist attractions and Common multilingual rural tourism guidebook with maps and integrated touristic offers<\/p>\n

2.3.2. Promotional materials designed, printing and distribution (brochures, leaflets and roll up banners) <\/p>\n

2.4.1. Purchasing of off-road vehicles for Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/p>\n

2.5.1. Marking of animals in Han Pijesak, establishment of tracking system and establishment of an Online Zoo.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Achieved results:<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

  • Two hunting lodges in Loznica and Han Pijesak were reconstructed and modernised, improving infrastructure for rural and nature-based tourism<\/li>\n
  • Premises in a school in Tr\u0161i\u0107 were reconstructed and a Centre for the Promotion of Rural Tourism in the cross-border region was established<\/li>\n
  • Two off-road vehicles were procured, strengthening capacities of local hunting associations<\/li>\n
  • A Study on Rural Development and Environmental Protection and a Tourism Development Strategy for Han Pijesak were developed<\/li>\n
  • Eight wildlife observatories and seven feeding grounds were established in Loznica and Han Pijesak<\/li>\n
  • Two digital maps were created with marked hiking, walking, and cycling trails, along with mapped tourist attractions<\/li>\n
  • Four cross-border workshops were organized, with 144 participants improving their capacities<\/li>\n
  • The project contributed to the development of sustainable rural tourism and environmental protection in the cross-border area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
