720 elderly persons undergoing preventive check-ups and their family members in Srem district and 5 BIH cantons (360 at info days, 360 at health prevention days)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The project  significantly improved access to basic health services for elderly citizens living in rural areas.<\/p>\n

Key results achieved include:<\/p>\n

    Improved access to preventive health services for elderly people in rural cross-border communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    A specialized training curriculum developed<\/strong> and four training sessions conducted<\/strong>, strengthening the capacities of 60 members of 12 local mobile teams<\/strong> for fieldwork.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Mobile teams equipped with essential medical and field equipment<\/strong> to provide services in remote areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Four vehicles procured<\/strong> (two per country) to ensure mobility and outreach of mobile health teams in rural communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    More than 2,600 preventive health examinations conducted<\/strong>, including checks of blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Increased awareness among elderly citizens about preventive healthcare, nutrition, physical activity, and mental health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
