Strengthened cross-border cooperation, coordination and joint actions between the Mountain Rescue Services of Serbia and Mountain Rescue Services Bosnia and Herzegovina in area cross-border area<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Activities and expected results of the project<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong><\/td>\n

R1: Strengthened sustainable cross-border institutional and operational  cooperation between MRSs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and active experience exchange enabled;<\/p>\n

R2: Joint capacity building activities implemented;<\/p>\n

R3: Improved equipment of MRSs for rescuing in floods and river accidents and mountain accidents;<\/p>\n

R4: Raised public awareness in matters of civil protection, complementary to other national and EU practices and with focus on needs of vulnerable groups (children, elderly people, etc);<\/p>\n

R5: Project promoted in line with EU visibility guidelines<\/p>\n

 Signing of the protocol on cross-border cooperation;<\/p>\n

Signing of inter-sector protocols;<\/p>\n

Creation of joint database of rescuers;<\/p>\n

Creation of joint online library with relevant documents and operational documents exchange;<\/p>\n

 Implementation of joint IT application for registering and reporting accidents;<\/p>\n

 Joint trainings of teams for rescuing from floods and river accidents implemented in area of Drina river;<\/p>\n

Joint trainings for rescuing from mountain accidents implemented in area of Zlatibor district and Bosnia and Herzegovina: Br\u010dko District and municipalites: Isto\u010dni Stari grad, Fo\u010da, Trnovo,Had\u017ei\u0107i, Sarajevo Novi Grad, Stari Grad, Sarajevo Centar, Novo Sarajevo, Ora\u0161je, Bjelljina and Teo\u010dak;<\/p>\n

    Capacities for flood search and rescue, mountain rescue, and medical assistance in inaccessible terrains were significantly enhanced.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    An operational training center was established and equipped with necessary furniture and technical equipment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Key rescue equipment was procured, including 1 snowmobile, 2 ATVs, rescue trailers, and specialized technical rescue gear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Flood and river rescue equipment was secured, strengthening response to water-related emergencies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Joint ski and alpine rescue training was conducted for 50 participants.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Specialized water, flash flood, and swift water rescue training was carried out on the Neretva and Drina rivers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Mountain rescue and emergency medical training improved the skills of rescue teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    17 training sessions were organized for local government employees on public education in emergency situations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Digital rescue systems were improved, including the establishment of an electronic rescuer database, online training modules, and a shared library of rescue manuals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The project contributed to better coordination and faster response in emergency situations across the cross-border area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
