SO2. To significantly increase preparedness and response to natural and man-made disasters observing the best European Union practices in prevention and response of all organisations\/institutions in the protection and rescue system in the cross-border area<\/p>\n

SO3. To increase visibility of vulnerability and resilience values using EU and ECHO Communication and Visibility Guidelines<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Results<\/p>\n

R 1.1. – Established effective and efficient management structure including monitoring and internal evaluation based on PCM techniques and best practices<\/p>\n

R 1.2. – Cross-Border Project Management Team established, functional and trained in project management<\/p>\n

R 2.1. – Cross-border multi-disciplinary \u2013 mobile team for preparedness and response to natural and man-made disasters observing the best European Union practices in prevention and response of all organisations\/institutions in the protection and rescue system in the cross-border area is established and equipped for providing life-saving actions<\/p>\n

R 2.2. \u2013 Detailed disaster risk management training needs for preparedness and response to natural and man- made disasters developed<\/p>\n

R 2.3. \u2013 Relevant stakeholders became certified Trainers according to the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction guidelines and implementation of the Sendai Framework<\/p>\n

R 3.1 \u2013 Developed dedicated project webpage, as well as other communication materials, in line with the EU and ECHO Communication and Visibility Guidelines, to inform the public about the project’s objectives and regular achievements<\/p>\n

R 3.2 \u2013 Ensured standard visibility for the EU as a donor through digital and printed materials on project values and vulnerability and resilience<\/p>\n

Activities<\/p>\n

A.1.1. Effective and efficient project management establishment and including monitoring and internal evaluation based on PCM techniques and best practices<\/p>\n

A 1.2. Establishment and capacity building of Project Management Team in PCM and PRAG<\/p>\n

A 2.1. Establishment and equipping cross-border multi- disciplinary – mobile team for preparedness and response to natural and manmade disasters observing the best European Union practices in prevention and response of all organisations\/institutions in the protection and rescue system in the cross-border area is established and equipped for providing life-saving actions<\/p>\n

A 2.2. Capacity Building Need assessment and Implementation of detailed disaster risk management training for preparedness and response to natural and man-made disasters<\/p>\n

A 2.3. \u2013 Relevant stakeholders capacity building and certification according to the United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction guidelines and implementation of the Sendai Framework<\/p>\n

A3.1. Communication with the public about the project’s objectives and regular achievements<\/p>\n

    Capacities of civil protection and rescue services were strengthened through the procurement of 131 essential equipment items<\/strong>, improving emergency preparedness and response.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    31 professionals were trained in UN Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)<\/strong> methodologies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    151 individuals were certified in basic and advanced First Aid<\/strong>, enhancing response capabilities in emergency situations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    A Project Implementation Council was established, strengthening coordination and cooperation among institutions in the cross-border area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, providing a formal framework for joint action in crisis and disaster situations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The project contributed to the development of a cross-border multidisciplinary approach to disaster preparedness and response.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Overall, the project significantly improved the resilience and operational readiness of protection and rescue systems in the region.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
