RESULT NO. 1:  <\/strong>Technical preconditions for integrated municipal WM established on the territory of three municipalities<\/p>\n

       Activity no. 1.1: Procurement\/distribution of specialized WM equipment<\/p>\n

       Activity no. 1.2: Development and introduction of primary waste collection system in the rural areas of BB<\/p>\n

       Activity no.1.3: Development and introduction of a primary waste collection system on the entire territory of two municipalities of B&H<\/p>\n

       Activity no.1.4: Establishment of a pilot compost plant in BB<\/p>\n

RESULT NO. 2 :<\/strong> The process of continuous education of key stakeholders in the integrated municipal WM process established in three municipalities<\/p>\n

       Activity no. 2.1: Implementation of continuous education of the population of three municipalities<\/p>\n

       Activity no. 2.2 Realization of a study trip<\/p>\n

RESULT NO. 3:<\/strong> Municipal planning documents in the field of WM developed\/applied in three municipalities<\/p>\n

       Activity no. 3.1:  Preparation of project planning documentation for the municipal compost plant in BB<\/p>\n

  • Waste management capacities in Bajina Ba\u0161ta, Vi\u0161egrad, and Han Pijesak were significantly improved through procurement of equipment, technical support, and public education activities<\/li>\n
  • Waste selection systems were expanded from urban to rural and peripheral areas, increasing coverage and participation in recycling processes<\/li>\n
  • A study on the composition and quantity of green waste was developed, creating the basis for establishing a green composting facility in Bajina Ba\u0161ta<\/li>\n
  • Conditions were created to reduce by up to 50% the amount of waste disposed at the Regional Waste Management Centre \u201cDuboko\u201d in U\u017eice<\/li>\n
  • A cold storage facility for animal waste was procured, improving treatment and management of this type of waste<\/li>\n
  • Equipment for production of woody biomass was purchased, including tractors and a woodchipper shredder, enabling the use of biomass for heating utility company facilities<\/li>\n
  • Public utility companies acquired new operational equipment, including garbage trucks, tractors, waste selection belts, presses, and large waste containers<\/li>\n
  • Local communities, schools, businesses, and citizens were actively involved in primary waste selection and recycling activities<\/li>\n
  • Municipalities of Vi\u0161egrad and Han Pijesak adopted waste management decisions and local waste management plans, strengthening the legal framework for sustainable waste management<\/li>\n
  • The project contributed to improving recycling systems, reducing landfill waste, and strengthening environmental protection in the cross-border area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
