    The target groups of the project:<\/strong> 12 teachers from secondary schools; at least 256 secondary school students in 6 municipalities; over 1,000 young people at the fair; representatives of schools, local self-governments, media and institutions, and students of secondary schools, and 40 adults (age 18-30).<\/p>\n

    The overall objective: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Overall objective of this project is to contribute to the creation of an environment that would initiate the development of youth entrepreneurship through education of young people and providing business counselling services, and support to creation of a competitive business environment in undeveloped municipalities of Zlatibor county and North-Eastern BiH<\/p>\n

    The specific objective: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Development of personal skills and abilities important for the future of young people, acquisition of knowledge about market mechanisms and basic presumptions for decision making, establishment of new friendships and partnerships, improvement of the education processes.<\/p>\n

    Activities and results of the project<\/strong><\/p>\n

     <\/strong><\/p>\n

    The project directly targeted 250 high school students from Po\u017eega, U\u017eice, Arilje, Bratunac, Srebrenica and Mili\u0107i who explored the following themes: self-initiative, self-confidence, creativity, teamwork, reliability, responsibility, honesty, determination, knowledge of market mechanisms and the process of decision making. Through project activities the students learned how to put their knowledge into practical use after graduating. The project also promoted youth entrepreneurship through various education activities and provision of business counselling services, as well as through creation of a competitive business environment in undeveloped municipalities of Zlatibor County and North-Eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. After selecting a team of 12 teachers from six municipalities, the teachers were put in charge of 36 companies, three each. Each company had seven students who acted as employees. As a part of the project student also organised a business fair where they presented their ideas.     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska supported the project, with the idea to include this model of student entrepreneurship in the curriculum for secondary schools. In addition, schools in Serbia wish to further develop entrepreneurship programs using this project\u2019s activities as a draft for a new school module.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
