CProject objective
\nThe project objective is to develop personal skills and abilities of young
\npeople which will help them embrace future challenges and overcome
\nprofessional and private obstacles.
\nActivities
\nThe project directly targeted 250 high school students from Po\u017eega, U\u017eice,
\nArilje, Bratunac, Srebrenica and Milici who explored the following themes:
\nself-initiative, self-confidence, creativity, teamwork, reliability, responsibility,
\nhonesty, determination, knowledge of market mechanisms and
\nthe process of decision making. Through project activities the students
\nlearned how to put their knowledge into practical use after graduating.
\nThe project also promoted youth entrepreneurship through various education
\nactivities and provision of business counselling services, as well as
\nthrough creation of a competitive business environment in under developed
\nmunicipalities of Zlatibor County and North-Eastern Bosnia and
\nHerzegovina. After selecting a team of 12 teachers from six municipalities,
\nthe teachers were put in charge of 36 companies, three each. Each company
\nhad seven students who acted as employees and who also organised
\na business fair where they presented their ideas.<\/b><\/p>\n

We worked on establishing new friendships, partnerships and transnational
\ncontacts while planning future employment opportunities for the
\nyoung people in the region. The Ministry of Education and Culture of
\nthe Republic of Srpska supported the project, with the idea to include
\nthis model of student entrepreneurship in the curriculum for secondary
\nschools. This was the greatest achievement of the project, which we did
\nnot anticipate at the time of the preparation of the project proposal. In
\naddition, schools in Serbia wish to further develop entrepreneurship programs
\nusing this project\u2019s activities as a draft for a new school module.<\/p>\n
