Representatives of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska visited the Center for Equitable Regional Development in Belgrade on August 27, 2013 in order to discuss the means of cooperation and implementation of joint activities planned for the upcoming period. The two organizations have been working together on the implementation of the project \u201cYouth \u2013 Most Important Driving Engine of our Region\u201d, whose main goal is to improve the capacities of youth to advocate for changes on both sides of the border.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Good cooperation and communication among the partners has resulted in successful realization of project activities during the previous period. In the upcoming period the organizations will be performing an intensive research on the effectiveness of local mechanisms which should help improve the state of young people in the Serbia \u2013 Bosnia and Herzegovina border region. The results of the research, incorporating the recommendations on how to improve the functioning of these bodies will be presented in the Publication in the middle of November 2013.<\/p>\n

The project has been implemented within the The\u00a0Serbia<\/em>\u00a0–\u00a0Bosnia and Herzegovina IPA Cross<\/em>–Border Cooperation Programme<\/em> and has been funded by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia and the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n
