The overall objective\/impact of the programme is:<\/p>\n

To promote good neighbourly relations, foster union integration and enhance the socio-economic development of the programme cross-border area through social and economic inclusion of specific groups, especially youth, and the competitiveness of tourism.<\/p>\n

The specific objectives, and types of activities are defined per thematic priority as follows:<\/p>\n

Thematic priority<\/strong> 1: Investing in youth, education and skills<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Specific Objective 1.1.<\/strong> To enhance youth activism and youth socio-economic participation<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Results: 1<\/strong>.1.1. <\/strong>Social integration and economic prospects of youth are improved<\/p>\n

-Joint training activities,<\/p>\n

-Promotion of dialogue and critical thinking among youth,<\/p>\n

– Implementation of youth entrepreneurial activities,<\/p>\n

– Youth activism and volunteering<\/p>\n

– Support to youth from vulnerable groups,<\/p>\n

– Implementation of innovative measures for the involvement of youth in society (e.g. through new technologies and digitalisation);                                                  <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Specific Objective<\/strong> 1.2. To increase the employability of specific groups by provision of new skills<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Indicative list of Activities<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
-Joint trainings for specific skills and competences with proven market demand,<\/p>\n

– Training and vocational training schemes aimed at vulnerable groups with emphasis in the use of modern technologies and digitalization,<\/p>\n

-Re-training of redundant workers from large traditional industrial systems<\/p>\n

– development of new, innovative training models or curricula (formal and non-formal),<\/p>\n

-Enhancement of cooperation with employers to enable internships and first job experiences;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

– development and promotion of joint cross-border tourism products\/services<\/p>\n

– networking of tourism providers from both sides of the border<\/p>\n

– involvement of specific groups in tourism development<\/p>\n

– development of niche tourism\u2013 sport, adventure, culinary, rural tourism<\/p>\n

 – connecting tourism with other sectors, for example agriculture and food processing industry<\/p>\n

-renovation of tourism infrastructure<\/p>\n

– equipping of tourism sites in the region<\/p>\n

– digitalisation in tourism<\/p>\n

– specialist training of tourism workers and providers<\/p>\n

– innovative and technological approaches to development, promotion and implementation of cross-border tourism offers<\/p>\n

– introduction of quality standards for tourism providers<\/p>\n

–        implementation of preservation action plans<\/p>\n

–         small renovation works and equipping of natural and cultural heritage<\/p>\n

–         prevention of risks for users of natural and cultural sites citizens and incoming tourists<\/p>\n

–         information and digital solutions in preservation of cultural and natural heritage<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
