Workshop on management, administration and rules of EU-funded projects, organized by Cartias Italy, was held in Belgrade, from 24 – 27 February of 2014.

The goal of the workshop was to directly strengthen the management and logistical capacities of members of the Caritas network , so they can better prepare for management and administration of projects funded by the EU.

The workshop was attended by many members of the Caritas network in the region, including representatives from the offices of Caritas Serbia, Caritas Archdiocese of Belgrade, Caritas Valjevo, Caritas Archdiocese of Bar, Caritas BiH, Caritas Kosovo, Youth center from Sarajevo and Caritas Šabac.

Thanks to high quality materials, presentations and interactive methodology, participants had the opportunity to share their experience in EU projects and, with the help of trainers, further develop their capacities.

The workshop was an opportunity for representatives of Caritas Šabac and Caritas BiH, a partner in the project “Strengthening professional adult education in rural areas”, which is implemented under the Second Call IPA Cross-border Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina, to gain a broader insight into the rules and procedures of the projects funded by the European Union, and determine next steps.
