The first parent education was held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 as one of the activities of the Cross-border Programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the last meeting held on February 5, 2014 the Project team FSPE has decided to start with the educational activities. This task was assigned to the Research team, who had to contact the kindergartens, prepare the presentations and all the necessary documentation including the promotional material. In regards to the appointed task, Research team scheduled the first parent education meeting at the kindergarten ‘Dunje’ on February 20, 2014 at 4:30 in the afternoon. A great number of parents confirmed their arrival, however due to many personal obligations, only 17 were able to come to the meeting. Nevertheless, those parents who were not able to attend confirmed that they will subsequently attend the next meeting and sign the statements allowing the Research team to proceed with the research activities. It is important to note that the parents did not express too much concern over the statements of consent, since they themselves are much aware of the difficult lifestyle and its irrefutable effects on their children’s physical health. Parents thanked the Research team and the Project team FSPE for their unselfish contribution in improving lifestyle and health of the younger generations.
